English Medium Model College Kanker C.G.was established on July, 13th, 2023 to open up the doors of higher education in the tribal region of Bastar district of Chhattisgarh. The founding father of this college, His Highness Bhanu Pratap Deo nurtured a dream for the upcoming generations of Bastar region in general and Kanker in particular. He hoped to enhance the literacy, intellectual and all-round development of the students of this tribal region by means of higher education through the establishment of BPD Govt. PG College in Kanker. Our institute holds the manifold distinction of being amongst one of the best colleges imparting higher education in the region.The aim and ambition of the college is to impart knowledge to the aspiring students belonging to socially and economically down trodden tribal sectors of this area and subsequently has attended its mission successfully.
